Cicerenella was released in 1972 as disc 1 of a two record set and soon reissued by Ricordi as two distinct discs (disc 2 was reissued as Lo guarracino) and was quite a sensation in the Neapolitan music world.
It was maybe the first time someone explored Neapolitan roots beyond stereotypes
