An exact aural reproduction of the Tarantella has been made possible for the first time through numeric transposition. Popular Tarantellas that have been passed down orally and classical Tarantellas that belong to the written tradition have been interwoven to create a new backdrop which highlights both rhythm and melody. Add to this the individual characteristics which are singular to each region and the result is a rich and varied tableau. The Tarantella is the coming together of DANCE-SOUND-COLOUR as a means to catharsis. If you dance you will find that each piece will require you to perform different steps until ultimately you feel you are on a path that will lead you to transcend the material, that will take you from the earth to the heavens, from darkness to light.
