These noëls, dances and songs - of pastoral tradition or of a social and political nature - illustrate a veritable folk culture. This choir, composed of four Sardinian shepherds from the village of Neoneli, specializes in su tenore singing- The latter requires four male voices - a soloist and three voices providing the response. The deep timbres and powerful. rough harmonies are typically Sardinian. A number of instrumental pieces for jew's harp, harmonica and launeddas (triple clarinet) complete the programme
