This is a live FM radio broadcast by "La Stanza della Musica", Radio Tre RAI [third channel of italian national radio], from Sala M (room M, originally called Sala Milano), RAI Studios, via Asiago, Roma, Italy, on friday 18 Septemeber 2009, at 22:32 hours.
Traditional chants in altamurese dialect from Puglia (Apulia), southern Italy, which will interest followers of "Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare" (NCCP) or Ambrogio Sparagna's "La notte della taranta". Strangely they are playing lots of ethnic instruments, not only italian (ehm... maybe that's why we call it world music). Note that the interviews (abouth the history of these songs, and about the band themselves, totalling kinda 22 mins - so only 29' of music are left) are in Italian
